fuckyeahhistorycrushes: (Johann Christoph) Friedrich von Schiller (10 November 1759 – 9 May 1805) is my personal history crush. His manly looks are certainly attractive to me. He was a German poet, philosopher, historian, and playwright. He and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe shared a quite interesting friendship. This relationship led to a period now referred to as Weimar Classicism. My favourite drama of his is Don Carlos, it’s often frustrating but carries an important message about loyalty.
